Delete your account

This page explains how to delete your Family Heroes account and all of your family's data, from inside the app or without it.

From the app

This is the fastest route, and the deletion is immediate.

1. Open Family Heroes and sign in to the parent area.
2. Go to Settings.
3. Choose Delete my account.
4. Confirm when the app asks you to.

Before deleting, you can download a copy of your data as JSON from the same screen, with Export my data.

Without the app

If you no longer have access to the app, email familyheroes999@gmail.com from the address associated with the account, with "Account deletion" as the subject. We verify that the request comes from the account holder, then delete it within 30 days at most.

What gets deleted

Deletion is permanent and covers the whole family, not only the parent who requests it:

• the parent account: email address, family name, family code;
• the children: first name, avatar, PIN, points balance;
• challenges, rewards, wishes and quick actions;
• the entire points history;
• the notification tokens registered for your devices.

Nothing is kept in a form that could re-identify you, and no backup is restored afterwards. The data cannot be recovered: export it first if you want to keep it.
